Special Message to the SDCBA Membership
As we transition to another season enduring the ongoing challenges of COVID-19, we will continue to serve our members remotely and keep the physical office space and Bar Center closed.
As we transition to another season enduring the ongoing challenges of COVID-19, we will continue to serve our members remotely and keep the physical office space and Bar Center closed.
Dear Members,
As promised, we continue to update you monthly about the status of our office space and Bar Center.
In light of the County’s July 21, 2020 Order of the Health Officer directing all non-essential businesses to close unless services can be provided without direct contact with the public, including through telecommuting, we have made the decision that our Bar Center will remain closed and our staff will continue to serve our membership remotely.
When you graduate from law school, your primary focus is usually on passing the bar and, if successful, practicing law. No one in law school tells you that, in addition to being an attorney, you will also need to be a salesman, a bill collector, and a de facto accountant.
As San Diego County businesses slowly begin to reopen, we have carefully considered when and how to resume operations at the SDCBA’s offices and Bar Center.
We want to reassure you that we continue to be proactive in our preparations to ensure a safe and responsible reopening.
